It was a perfect gig for 69 Roseau High School band members, director Chris Barnes, and seven chaperones.

They flew out of Minneapolis on Friday, March 31, with high hopes and, nicely, all their instruments arrived, too.

It was their reprieve from a less than ideal winter in Roseau.

For five days, they weren't bothered with cold windchills and icy sidewalks.

All it took was submitting a taped audition to Disney World.
