Northwest Angle- Tim Prothero was born to Dale and Grace (Kirby) Prothero on December 30, 1958, in Wichita, Kan. He moved with his family to the Northwest Angle at the age of three. He attended the one-room school through 8th grade. He then boarded with his sister, Linda Knight, during his high school years. He graduated from Warroad High School in 1977. He entered the army and served in Germany. After which he worked at his parents' resort.
