Meet the RHS graduate who's the newest State Trooper

It's possible that Alex Anderson, a 2011 Roseau High School graduate, wasn't expecting to be spotlighted in his hometown newspaper.

The credit goes to his proud mother, Alana Anderson.

"He just turned 29 the day he graduated from the State Patrol. It was like the Army. It was tough," she said last week, adding that her daughter, Ada, flew in from Boulder, Colorado, for his graduation.

Cadet Alex Anderson was a member of the 64th Class of the Minnesota State Patrol.

The graduation pamphlet describes them as the Fortified Few.
