We went camping for the 4th of July at The Wilds Resort and Campground in Osega, Minn.

The campground was nice but the lake was too weedy for me. I think if a person went in the water, the weeds would take you down!! Thankfully, I stayed upright in my kayak and didn't find out if they would or not.

We had the whole crew this trip: Sarah and Brian, Brandon and Destinee, Kyle and me and the furbabies Blu and Cynder.

We did some fishing, had campfires, watched fireworks, played cornhole and, of course, lots of food.

I am the reigning cornhole champion. What a great Christmas present I got Kyle...
