Carol Yvonne Johnson, 78

Hibbing- Carol Yvonne Johnson passed away on June 29th at 12:15 a.m. in Hibbing after a long battle with cancer. Carol was born in Roseau on December 29th, 1943 to Anna and Hilding (Alf) Grahn.

Carol grew up on a farm outside of Roseau. As a kid she was active in 4-H. Her mom was a talented seamstress. She and her sisters all learned to sew. Carol carried that skill through her life. The sisters also all enjoyed a rainy day because their dad did not have to work the farm and they could head to Salol to get an ice cream cone.
