I saw a bumper sticker one time which read: "Work is for people who can't fish!" Most of you have seen the bumper sticker which reflects one of the commonest motivations for going to work today: "I woe, I woe, so off to work I go!" Is there a nobler motivation for punching a time clock? All honest labor has dignity, and therefore the laborer should be treated with dignity. The Bible agrees, only it takes the dignity of work one step further: all honest labor is from God and ought to be performed unto Him. Let's examine this idea.
