County Commissioner races are set for November

In Tuesday's primary election, the District 1 and District 3 candidates were reduced to the final two candidates in each Roseau County Commissioner race.

In District 1, Glenda Phillipe, a former commissioner, easily outdistanced the other four candidates as she won with 154 votes.

Also advancing is Shane Horner, the son of the late commissioner, John Horner, with 81 votes.

Ms. Phillipe and Mr. Horner will contend for the District 1 seat in November.
