Adam Bies now in custody for threatening the FBI
On Monday, after multiple phone calls over the weekend, Derrick Byfuglien returned my call.
He was upbeat and laughing, and I commented that I was sorry his old man, Dean, lost in the District 1 County Commissioner primary, which covers the City of Warroad, a trailer park and businesses up the hill from Warroad, and Springsteel.
There couldn't have been a bigger dark horse than his dad.
His son laughed again.
"Somebody from Warroad said to him afterwards, 'If you hadn't stolen the courthouse, you'd probably have gotten more votes.' I can't remember who it was."
