Thanks to Alanna Anderson for addressing the issue of elementary kids driving their friends around in golf carts and do the parents know or not.

I have seen this multiple times, and they are not paying attention to things around them, causing near collisions with others on the road. According to local law enforcement and state laws, because a golf cart is a motorized vehicle, YOU NEED A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. That would be at least 16, I do believe. Do parents know this and still let their kids drive one? Do they really not know this law? Is it even legal to have an adult in the cart...
