I was dreaming and scheming about a plan I had, I knew it was a wonderful plan. I wanted an addition built onto the side of our house. Thinking about my future needs, I wanted everything on the first floor, which would make my life a lot safer.

I trust my contractor, David Brinkman, who has had a ton of experience. The building inspector told Dave that we would not be able to connect the addition to the garage and house both, because the garage is on a slab. We decided to connect the addition to the house using a poured concrete foundation footing.

David was concerned with the roof line....
