These Cowgirls Get the Funds for St. Jude's

Darlene Danielson didn't need a weatherman to know that her annual St. Jude Trail Ride fundraiser at Bemis Hill on Saturday, September 24, wasn't going to be high and dry.

It was moderately miserable with a steady cold drizzle for most of the day.

Still, she's a rather remarkable gal and, if she ever dresses up real fancy, she won't be wearing her cowboy boots.

At 61, she's the grand old dame of this annual event, the 23rd overall, where a good horse beats a pretty truck.
