On Monday, Marty Mjelleli, the chairman of the Mr. Hockey Award, remarked on the young man from Roseau who was the 2022 recipient of the Mr. Hockey '22 Award.
"It would be great if the Times Region could run a small article on Max being presented the ring, compliments of Jostens," he said, adding that the Minnesota All Sports Alliance presented the ring to Max in late summer.
"We traditionally have a ring ceremony for our Mr. Hockey recipient," he said, relating that the presentation took place at the Xcel Energy Center right outside the Wild locker room.
