I was a Minn. State Trooper for over 30 years and during that time I witnessed what a mothers love is.

I was called to an accident and when I arrived I saw a body in the ditch holding a young boy. She was hugging him and talking to him with words so low I couldn’t understand them. When the boy was pronounced dead and we were told to take him to the morgue the mother pleaded with us to let her hold him a little longer, hugging him tighter. Some 50 years later I can still hear those words, “Please, let me hold him a little longer.” A mothers love.
