A week ago Wednesday morning, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) didn't walk in blind to the concerns of Paul Marvin, the CEO and Chair of Marvin, and other corporate executives at the Warroad facility.

Their concerns are her concerns. Klobuchar was on the road to various communities struggling with diminishing workforces, housing shortages, and limited daycare providers.

"We had a very productive visit to Marvin Windows this morning," she said, as she was being driven out of Warroad near noon on January 11.
