Fern Elouise Severson, 96

Roseau- On Thursday, January 19, 2023, Fern Elouise Severson of Roseau peacefully passed away at the Roseau Manor at the age of 96.

Fern was born to Sam and Signe (Gavelin) Palm on May 12, 1926. She was brought up living near grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins near Wannaska and was a life-long resident of Roseau County. She attended the Torfin School through 8th grade and shared many stories about her school days. She married Clifford Severson March 19, 1946 and together raised three daughters and one son on their farm near Wannaska.
