Warroad- James "Jim" Donald Bishop passed away peacefully at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau with his wife, Marlene, by his side. 

Jim was born in Fargo, N.D. on June 6, 1945 to Floyd and Alvina Bishop.  He grew up in Long Prairie.  He went to a country school in Clotho and he attended high school in Long Prairie.  He was an outdoor enthusiast from a young age.

As a young adult, he moved to Argyle, where he was a bus driver for St. Rose Catholic School. He worked at Hubert's Standard Gas Station and later worked for Safranski Farms.
