My reading journey began in my grandparent's spare bedroom as my grandma read What Are You Doing In My Bed for the fifth night in a row. Something about the way she told the story made me want to hear it again and again. It is the earliest book I can recall reading. A few years went by before I did any serious reading, which is when I read my first novel outside of school. It was Maze of Bones from the 39 Clues book series by Rick Riordan.
