The old lawman, who's not so old at 55, laughed when asked if any of the guys and gals or even kids he had arrested or ticketed for traffic violations had attended his retirement party at the Roseau City Center on Thursday, February 16.
"No, they didn't," he said.
It would have been a fitting gesture, and they could have rubbed elbows with the town elite and the regulars who enjoyed the free cake and beverages.
It shocked any number of Roseau residents when Ward Anderson, the Roseau Police Chief, retired the end of 2022.
He is well-liked and respected.
The good ones don't stay...
