Taking Time Out To Play

 


After a lifetime of observing all species of wildlife, the common denominator is that they all take time out to play. The Sharp-tails that stop in for the free food are no exception. There is an eight to ten foot tall snow pile on the edge of the yard. They can fly over it or walk around if they choose. Lately most seem to enjoy walking up and over at the highest spot. They do this both coming and going. If there was a hidden microphone in the snowbank they probably would be heard saying “Wheee” going both ways.
