Roseau resident dies from self-inflicted gunshot

On Tuesday morning, Roseau Police Chief Marc Hodge was contacted at his office following a Monday evening report on iNewZ.TV that there had been a fatal shooting on the 900 block of 6th Street N.E. in Roseau.

"We got a call at 6:20 p.m. that there had been a shooting at a residence near the Ram Sports Center."

It was a fatal wound.

Chief Hodge, who answered the call on the shooting incident, recalled that the deceased was in his mid-thirties.
