When I was a child I felt like I had many opportunities for reading. We always had a bookshelf overflowing with good books that were available at any time. What we read as a child can have some type of influence on what we like reading as we grow up in my opinion. As I was reflecting on what books shaped me as a child I found that relatively true. I know that might not be the case for everyone, but for myself I never had an excuse to not have a book that I could enjoy.
