Katie, the Golden Gopher
Katie Borowicz is more than pretty good.
She is exceptional.
Even as a seventh grader, she performed magic on the court with her unique skills.
It was less than three years ago that Katie chose to play for the Golden Gophers Women's Basketball Team.
Katie graduated early from Roseau High School and was 17 when she enrolled at the U of M in January 2021
That meant leaving her Roseau teammates her senior season.
She was the star, the sparkplug, and their hope for a really great season. But you only get so many chances in life.
Her main goal was to play for the Golden Gophers under Coach Lindsay...
