Last weekend, Roseau Police Chief Marc Hodge remarked on the incident in which the son of a Roseau resident set fire inside the residence as well as discharged gunshots inside the dwelling at 306 Alpha Place.

"We got a call about a house fire around 2:15 or so on Wednesday afternoon," he said.

When law enforcement arrived, the west end of house was fully engulfed.

"We located two individuals in an outside garage. It was the homeowner and his son. Both people were treated for burns," he said, identifying the homeowner as Gary Wold and his son, Christopher.
