Side by Side

Good neighbors don't automatically happen. While we lived in Chicago, there were neighbors living in the same building as us who we never got to know. Some people have no problem going up to a stranger and sharing their life story, or with confidence, go up and knock on a strangers door. I am better with just a smile. Have you ever given a stranger a hug? I did once and it was really embarrassing. Good grief, I still don't know why I did it. I am impulsive. I get really nervous around impulsive people. Does this mean I am conflicted? Yikes!
