Nine Border-Jumping Migrants surrender to U. S. authorities

Sometime near 4:45 a.m. this past Tuesday, a 911 call was received by the Roseau County Sheriff's Department dispatcher in which language was a barrier.
The caller didn't speak English.
At least nine interlopers had crossed the Manitoba border into Minnesota north of Salol late Monday evening but had faced harsh conditions in the cold weather (24 degrees Fahrenheit).
The area is swampy with numerous bogs and neck-high water in the numerous ditch grades filled with the melting snow runoff.
They had hiked approximately four miles across the Lost River State Forest in Unorganized...
