I hear the sound of gates in use; one more frequently than the other. "Swish" goes the first and busier gate hanging a bit askew on its well-worn pivots. The second, the gate less taken, comparatively speaking, might be accompanied by a squeak from less use if it were not for the Gardener of that side lubricating it regularly. Both gates return to their latches with a solid "click" for they only swing one way: In, not out. Now my question to you is: which gate has your fingerprints on it? Or are you still trying to decide?
