The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council announced the Art Exhibit winners. Among the winners was Sherri Kruger of Badger for mixed media “Fiery Stump”.

Roseau American Legion Auxiliary announced their Girls State Representative for 2018 was Emma Waling.

A 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 49 year old Robert Tuttle of Roseau and also with the U.S. Border Patrol was traveling west on Highway #11 on an emergency call when a vehicle driven by 86 year old Martha Hecker of Warroad entered Highway #11 from a side road and collided with the Tahoe.
