Kermit Jensen and Tim Palmquist have advanced to the August 8 general election following this past Tuesday's District 4 Roseau County Commissioner primary election.

With 320 votes, Mr. Jensen held a commanding lead over his nearest competitor, Mr. Palmquist, who tallied 76 votes.

The rest of the commissioner candidates finished as follows: Brett Creger (61), Mike Tesarek (54), Rick Jenson (21), Kyle Cole (20), and Gerald Landby (7).
