Where Is Jesus When It Hurts?

John 5: 1-15

In the Gospel of John we can see Jesus up close. He has tears in his eyes when a close friend of his dies. Jesus is touched by the sorrow of death. (John 11: 35) This close-up view of Jesus is perhaps why the Gospel of John has been referred to as "The Heart of Christ."

I would like to invite you into "The Heart of Christ" as we examine a story of Jesus in the presence of suffering. Allow Jesus to approach you and conduct some business in your own heart.
