The judge laughs and, yes, she even smiles.

In early May, she was spotted without her black robe in Courtroom One.

Every other Tuesday is Treatment Court Day at the Roseau County Courthouse.

"It's 15 years now for DWI Court and six years for Drug Court," said Judge Donna Dixon, who was asked how she gauges success.

"To be honest, somebody can make it through the program and, in my opinion, be a success," she said on a recent Tuesday afternoon.

She prefers success over setbacks.
