Warroad- Betty Smith passed away at her home in Warroad on December 21, 2022 at the age of 84.

Betty Joyce Gohr was born August 21, 1937 in Sultan, Wash. to Fred and Esther (Coulter) Gohr. She was the fifth of seven children. She graduated from Sultan High School.

In 1955 she met her best friend, Rosa Maries', best friend Wilburs; Best Friend Ward. Three years later, said Best Friend became her BEST FRIEND! Betty and Ward Smith were married September 12, 1958 in Snohomish, Wash.

In May of 1963, Sharon arrived and in February of 1966, Glen completed the family.
