Always when there is mention of TV characters, I think of our wonderful local characters who should be on the telly or in the movies.
Take the Dawg, aka Steve Furuseth, a wonderful and roguish character and a born conniver, who moved away several decades ago.
He was a highly renowned RHS science teacher from 1972 into the early 1990s. He could put a smile on a hangover.
He should be the guest speaker this Sunday at the 2023 Roseau High School graduation ceremony.
He's a captivating orator.
That's what graduation should be.
