It's a good year for blueberries! Blueberry pickers usually consider Fair Week, the third week of July, as the week to start picking blueberries, but this year many started filling buckets around the 4th of July. If Roosevelt had a Blueberry Festival similar to the Blueberry & Arts Festival held in Ely every summer, Roosevelt's Blueberry Queen would have to be Teresa Carlson, hands down.
