The skies were overcast on Monday, May 27, when residents of the Warroad community parked their cars and made their way into the Gardens Arena for the Memorial Day program. The crowd was solemn as they filled the blue bleacher seats and the folding chairs set up on the arena floor.
The well-thought-out program began at 10:00 a.m., with the Posting of the Colors, followed by the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance.
