Students in Grace Novacek's class had the opportunity to work with hip hop artist and a spoken word poet. The residency was arranged with COMPAS and sponsored by the Roseau Parent Teacher Organization.

Listening to my music, drowning out

the noises, forgetting about what's in

my head, and letting go of the voices,

focusing out the overwhelming

noises, just listening to my soft tunes

of instruments playing so heavenly,
