The Roseau County Fair

Students in Grace Novacek's class had the opportunity to work with hip hop artist and spoken word poet See More Perspective in early April. The residency was arranged with COMPAS and sponsored by the Roseau Parent Teacher Organization.

In the middle of summer

The semis drive in

All the rides get set up

Now the fair can begin

We put on our wristbands

And get lots of sleep

Because once it begins

We'll be out late all week

The whole town will show up

To go on the rides

Waste money on games

Just to win some dumb prize

The hydration station line is so long

And our cheesy fries are...
