Badger Man Arrested on Federal Gun Charges

According to a probable cause affidavit, Xavier Sibrian, 28, of Badger, was criminally charged with unlawful possession of machine guns and suppressors.

During a routine ATF inspection of a Roseau licensed firearm dealer, it was discovered that Sibrian purchased 24 firearms at six different licensed dealers in Minnesota to include the purchases in Roseau.

Twelve of of the firearms were seized in California crimes. The average time from purchasing to seizure in those crimes was 123 days. The short time frame is common among straw purchasers according to the affidavit. The ATF defin...
