I’ve been dreaming,

Sitting in school

Waiting for the warm months of summer

Oh, it’s such a bummer

That it can’t be sooner

Dreaming of the days

When I can fish

Oh that’s my biggest wish

To be standing alongside the river

Baiting my hook

Chilling with the boys

Drinking a dewski dan

And getting on our tan

Toes in the sand

We head up to shore

Cast our lines in

Thinking about who will get the biggest

But then with just one look

Down with the current

I see a fish jump

Then my eyes open

Realizing I’ve been bumped

Whoops, I’ve been dreaming

Summer, summer when...
