This isn't his first law enforcement rodeo

Roseau County Deputy Sheriff Dan Davidson was standing in the parking lot at the Kevin Johnson Auto Service in Roseau.

The man doesn't frown like a drill instructor upon being asked dumb questions.

He smiles.

Mr. Davidson was asked if he's ever been called Dapper Dan.

"Nobody's ever called me that before."

And he didn't growl.

Where's your hometown?

"That's interesting. I was born in Minneapolis but I went to school in Jefferson, South Dakota. So, I kind of grew up halfway in Minneapolis and halfway in South Dakota."
