Six minutes with Roseau's watering lass

On a recent Wednesday, the young lady was spotted watering the elevated flower pots.

Tijah Menlove occasionally gets sprayed when it's windy.

"My family moved here 13 years ago yesterday," she said on Wednesday, August 14.

What a memory, she was told.

"It's one of our friends' birthday. That's how I remember it."

She said her name just once.

"I usually just go by Tijah. It rhymes with Elijah," she said as she watered a flower pot high over her head as a summer employee with the Roseau city crew.
