The 21st Annual Yellow Rose 5K/10K Held In Warroad

The very first Yellow Rose 5K Walk/Run was held the morning of August 14, 2004, with the Warroad Pioneer headline proclaiming the 5K a success. 259 people participated in the 2004 event sponsored by the Marvin Anniversary Team in celebration of the Marvin founder's arrival to Warroad 100 years ago.

Funds raised in the first 5K were donated to the local food shelf. Plaques were given to overall male and female winners: Eric Palmquist and Lori Grover.
