Roseau Police Chief Is High on New Cop on the beat

Finding good officers is a must for Roseau Police Chief Marc Hodge, who’s delighted to have a new officer on the job.

"Brandon Schutz just got out of college with a criminal justice degree. He's 20-years-old and he was hired at the end of June."

What have you noticed?

"He seems to be a really good kid," he said, and then corrected himself.

"I shouldn't say kid. I'm the oldest one in the department. He's a very much straight-forward young adult. I couldn't be happier with the way things are going.”

He added that Brandon's training went well.

"We've got him working on his own now,...
