Delores Mae Taus, 89

Strathcona- Delores Mae Taus of rural Strathcona passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the age of 89. Delores was born July 23, 1935 in Greenbush to Frank and Verna (Johnson) Kalinowski.

Delores grew up on the family farm west of Greenbush helping with the daily chores of a dairy farm, milking cows, haying, picking rocks, which led to about a half mile rock fence. She also helped in the big family garden weeding, harvesting, and canning the bounty from the garden. She graduated from High School in Greenbush in 1954 and attended a teaching academy.
