Badger- Tara M. Halvorson 52, of Badger died on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Grand Forks, N.D. after a short battle with cancer. Tara Marie Schwickerath was born on July 10, 1972 to Gerald "Jerry" and Janet (Kuykendall) Schwickerath in New Hampton, Iowa.

Tara missed the last week of 4th grade when her family moved from Iowa to Hector. Tara fondly recalled the story of shopping with her grandma Schwickerath at Liddle's Grocery store in New Hampton.
