The holiday season will come alive with festive and awe-inspiring selections performed by a community choir, bell choir, and local musicians at A RiverPlace Christmas, Warroad RiverPlace’s first annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 7, at 7:00 p.m. (103 State Ave., Warroad)
The public is invited to this free, non-ticketed event that will evoke merriment and wonder with performances of familiar favorites, as well as a theatrical choral piece under the direction of artistic director Jenee Provance.
Cheerful and cherished songs will be performed by ensembles including Pam and Bob Wenzel; a trio comprised of Sarah Homme, Christy Olafson, and Pam Bertilrud; and Nancy Fisher, to name a few.
“We hope you will join us for this joyful evening,” said choir director Jeff Galle. “In the spirit of the season, RiverPlace’s first-ever Christmas concert will weave together a range of musical and visual elements with a variety of voices from across the area that will fill the performance hall.”
Arrive early to take in the music-filled art gallery with sounds of the season by student musicians, and stay afterward to socialize with friends and neighbors over hot cider.
Doors to the performance hall will open at 6:30 p.m. for general admission seating, and RiverPlace will be open to the public starting at 6:00 p.m.
