The Stein Family Takes A Leap Of Faith

Dave Stein had a phenomenal hockey coach when he was growing up and playing for the Palm Desert Knights in Palm Springs, California. Palm Springs, a retirement location and winter snowbird destination, is noted for its mid-century modern architecture and art and cultural scene. It’s not an area one thinks of as a place to play ice hockey. Yet due to Coach Joe Boffa, the kids in Palm Springs learned how to play a good game of hockey.
