The songwriting man from Nashville with his roots here

We all have dreams.

Aaron Espe, a 2000 Roseau High School graduate, is in Nashville these days as a singer and songwriter.

Earlier this month, he was asked if his singing style resembles the late greats Little Richard, Tony Bennett, or Tiny Tim.

He laughed, adding that he was familiar with Tiny Tim, the falsetto singer of the 1960s.

"I'd say I'm closer to James Taylor probably. My dad had his Greatest Hits on CD, so that was influential growing up.

Aaron describes himself as more of a folksinger than a crooner like Tony Bennett.
