The Pennington Humane Society Creates A Brighter Future For Animals

By the end of November 2024, the Pennington Humane Society in Thief River Falls had placed 850 shelter pets into their forever homes, since the beginning of the year. They have also provided emergency food assistance to 1,073 local animals and their caretakers.The shelter is presently full with 97 pets, which is the limit the Humane Society is licensed to provide shelter for. There are 67 cats, and 30 dogs at the shelter that are waiting for their forever homes.
