Week 1 of the RTR

It's already January and the first RTR of the year!

Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels

Ingredients

Puff Pastry: 1 sheet, thawed

Ham: 6 slices, thinly sliced

Cheese: 1 cup cheddar, mozzarella - your choice!

Dijon Mustard (optional): 2 tablespoons

Egg Wash: 1 egg, beaten

Herbs (optional): 1 teaspoon dried oregano or parsley

Directions

On a clean surface, lightly dust with flour and roll out the thawed puff pastry into a rectangular shape, about 10×12 inches.

Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard.

Next, lay the slices of ham.

Spread the cheese on top of the ham. Roll into a log.
