Floyd B. Olson was a legendary postmaster

Ever walk into a post office and everybody is smiling? Nobody's crabby and there are even some laughs.

That was a typical day when Floyd B. Olson was the Roseau Postmaster. He was a prince of a guy.

The other day, Mayor Dan Fabian was looking forward to the final stage in naming the Roseau Post Office the Floyd B. Olson Post Office.

Not bad for a gentleman, now deceased, who started off his career as a carpenter.

Maybe the mayor didn't know that.
